We have 8 years of experience hosting Weddings at the venue, and have offered Wedding Packages until October 2022. From April 2023 we made the decision to ONLY offer Party Hire on Friday and Saturday nights. Party hire allows you to turn up to a ready made venue, without having the hassle of ordering in decorations, furnishings or laying up tables. We offer streetfood (you choose from a range of Percy & Lily’s menus) and we do the rest! Minumum numbers for party hire are 80 on Friday nights, 100 on Saturday nights. We offer an extended party hire to allow you to come to us a little earlier than 7pm, so get in touch about this!

We do not have a marriage license so you cannot legally marry at the Hide. We have hosted many humanist ceremonies and the Warehouse makes for a versatile space to host a ceremony or blessing. The fairy lit brick wall makes a unique backdrop for your celebration, with the option of bench seating for up to 50 guests or standing space for 100, it just depends how you’d like to do it. .

Lily (our unique Yellow H Van Bar) and a TEN (Temporary Events Notice) with staff to serve & clear venue (minimum bar spend £1000)

Lily stocks craft beers, lagers, wines, Prosecco, spirits and soft drinks

Canteen party space 7pm-11.30pm

Wall mounted light boxes spelling SHEFFIELD and additional fairy lights

We offer access to both spaces the day before, and an extended Party Hire from 5pm for £800 PLUS VAT 

This gives access from 9am until 3pm the day before your wedding to hang decorations, lay tables, set up & personalise the space if required.

This means we do not book the venue out to anyone else on the night before your wedding and therefore cannot run another licensed event. We also allow access to the venue on Mondays to collect belongings, dismantle decorations and empty the space.

FOOD PRICES

All catering is provided by our sister company Percy & Lily’s Ltd. 

We also offer a Spanish Pintxos menu starting at £7.50 per person on arrival. These Spanish style canapés are great to soak up the alcohol whilst our guests are having a drink or two. We can offer themed bespoke canapé menus so please discuss this with us.  

WE NO LONGER OFFER WEDDING BREAKFASTS

We serve Street Food from our grey H van (10 menus to choose from, 80 people minimum on Fridays, 100 people minumum on Saturdays) after 7pm at night as this is a casual eating experience served with our biodegradable plates and cutlery. You select a themed menu and your guests ‘choose’ what they want to eat at the van. Menus are priced at £15 per head, and we can create a unique menu or adapt an existing one to meet your needs! Anything is possible.


DESSERTS & CHEESE 

We offer Dessert & Cheeseboards brought to the table at the Hide.

You can also opt to create your own dessert or cheeseboard table. You set this up, guests serve themselves. You provide all the boards, plates, knives and serving utensils. We charge a £100 fee to cover plates, napkins, cleaning fees and packaging up left overs for removal 

Your Wedding Cake can be brought in.

We charge £75 for plates and napkins and an onsite ‘cutting’ service. 


COFFEE & TEA

Smith Street Coffee Roasters offer tea/coffee at weddings.  


ALCOHOL & BAR 

We have a minimum £1000 bar spend on Friday nights so advise you invite 80 guests +

We have a minimum £1500 bar spend on Saturday nights so advise you invite 100 guests +

You can opt for welcome/toasting drinks priced at £6 for each guest 

The Optional Bar in the Canteen Hall is charged at £85 from 7pm 

We ask that there are no under 12s are in the building after 9pm unless you discuss this with us *

* Please feel free to discuss this and our Safeguarding of Children Policy under the Licensing Act (2003) and your particular needs.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Hide comprises of three spaces. You can access the venue ( two warehouses) via the large exterior doors, we then we have a ramp to the lower warehouse, so accessibility is good. We don’t have disabled toilets but can hire these in for events - so if you’re booking with us we offer this as an option. If you attending an event please let us know so we can liaise with the client if necessary to ensure your needs are met. As we are a pop up events space rather than a permanent licensed venue we only open for events rather than open daily.

We have toilets that are ‘accessible’ and can make adjustments and offer additional measures to suit your needs.
