The Hide has been hosting weddings for over 10 years and we have tonnes of experience between us to ensure you have the most brilliant wedding day. 

Inside our lovingly restored, inner-city 1920s warehouse you’ll find three versatile rooms which need little to no extra decor.

Our venue is licensed to hold marriages and civil ceremonies up to 90 people, allowing you to have your wedding festivities all under one roof. When booking your wedding you have exclusive access to the venue with three unique spaces, each with a different function for your day and most of all allowing guests of all generations a find a space to settle. We can accommodate large weddings with approx 90 day guests and 100+ for evening, as well as smaller more intimate occasions. Our adaptable venue allows your wedding to flow seamlessly from daytime ceremony to evening party.

We are one of the very few (if not only) warehouse venue in Sheffield which is ready to go. Fully furnished with our signature red reclaimed Cox chairs, and tastefully decorated with greenery, hanging lanterns, fairy lights and down lighters. We provide our ‘You’ll do’ sign, window candles and tea lights for tables as standard.

Our venue is fully heated and accessible with step-free access and dedicated facilities.

Co-owner and Head Chef Andy has carefully curated a delicious choice of wedding menus using the best locally sourced produce. There are plenty of options to suit your day. We’re able to cater for a range of allergies and intolerances - just let us know.

We also offer a 30% discount on our hire fee for evening only wedding parties - for those who are getting married on a different day or having a very small ceremony and want to still have the opportunity to celebrate their nuptials with a larger group of friends and family. This option gives you access to the venue from 5pm (your guests from 6.30pm) until close, without some of the additional event coordination and set up. Please use the form to tell us about your plans and we can provide further details on this option.

    In-house catering

    We know great food is key at weddings, our in-house chef and owner Andy has created a variety of delicious seasonal menus. From canapés, and sharing boards, sit down formal meals to relaxed feasts and street food style evening options - the choice is yours. Andy will help plan a wedding menu to remember.

    Ceremonies

    Our venue is licensed to hold marriages and civil ceremonies with seating up to 100 guests in our warehouse. You can also choose to hold a humanist ceremony and we can put you in touch with a number of Sheffield based celebrants. See our events space for warehouse and ceremony set up pics.

    A venue ready to go

    Our venue is ready to go without the need for extra decoration and added expense. All furnishings have been tastefully selected to suit the venue and provide a comfortable, welcoming space for you and your guests. We do offer a couple of optional extras should you want to explore.
